DECEMBER 2025 & JANUARY 2026

ACTIVITY 1:

INTRODUCTIONS:

• Students introduce themselves in a short paragraph with a

personal avatar in Twinspace

• Teachers introduce themselves in a short paragraph with a

personal avatar in Twinspace

• Schools: Partners upload short introductory videos or

presentations of their schools and/or cities, countries in

Twinspace (not an urgent or must-do activity)

ACTIVITY 2:

Making and Sharing Christmas & New Year Cards (with resolutions for

a greener year)

• The cards can be prepared in online apps or as hand-crafts

• Writing New Year Resolutions may be a good idea for raising

consciousness about going green and involving disadvantaged

students

ACTIVITY 3:

Basics of Literacy Activities among partner schools

• Basic greetings and phrases in partner schools’ native

languages may be studied.

ACTIVITY 4:

ONLINE MEETINGS

• Teachers’ Meeting: Partner teachers meet and discuss the

working plan and task distribution in an online meeting

• Students’ Meeting: Students meet online, share their

Christmas and New Year wishes, and play an online game

(e.g.Kahoot, Quizizz) about partner schools, and the content of

the basics of literacy activity.

ACTIVITY 5:

Pre-Tests for Teachers and Students (on Googleforms)

• In eTwinning projects, we have to gather information about the

background and needs of the project members

ACTIVITY 6:

STARTING PROJECT LOGO CONTEST

• Each partner school will propose at least one project logo

• A partner teacher will create a contest survey online

• The results (winner logo-school) will be announced in the end

of January or first week of February)

FEBRUARY 2026

ACTIVITY 1:

ECO-DAY OF SOLIDARITY

• Partner teams may arrange an awareness-raising seminar,

workshops about the need for saving environment, and/or

Make decorated recycling bins for each class, Act role-plays,

Create or Compose an acrostics poem, etc.).

• We can collect the partner teams’ works in an eBook or Padlet

and disseminate it on different platforms as an exchange of

good practices

ACTIVITY 2:

PROJECT POSTER CONTEST

• As a follow-up activity, each partner school will design at least

one project poster online.

• The criteria for the poster designs will be announced in

advance in Twinspace.

• A partner school teacher will coordinate the poster contest and

share the results in Twinspace.

MARCH 2026


ACTIVITY 1:

RECYCLE WISELY (18th March – World Recycling Day)

• Students create crafts from recycling materials and highlight

the importance of 3R rules.

• Teams exhibit their crafts in their schools or in an online

exhibition web tool on the Recycling Day or Week.

ACTIVITY 2:

WATER CONNECTS (World Water Day – 22nd March, World Rivers Day14th March, 23rd March-World Meteorology Day)

• Students may make environmental research of a local stream

and add their report in Twinspace

• Partner students cooperate in internationals teams and each

team does a different activity about how water connects us

(e.g. research and report, posters, slogans).

APRIL 2026

ACTIVITY 1:

THE STORY OF A “GREEN HERO”

• Each partner school will design and propose a character of a

“Green” Hero

• A poll will be held to choose the winner character

• The partner schools will write a chapter about the adventures

of our Hero in the eBook (in Storyjumper web tool).

ACTIVITY 2:

GREEN INCLUSIVE GARDEN (22nd April Earth Day)

• On the Earth Day, the partner school teams will create their

Green Inclusive Gardens. The disadvantaged students will

definitely be involved in the activity. Signs, posters and wishes

cards can be used to decorate the garden.

MAY 2026

ACTIVITY 1:

eTwinning Day

• An online meeting with diverse online activities will be

arranged for students to celebrate eTwinning Day.

• The students will share reflections about the benefits of

eTwinning in equipping them with various skills and

knowledge.

• The meeting will also be the farewell meeting among partner

school students. The students will be awarded with certificates

of achievement or participation (as a green hero of the Mother

Earth).

ACTIVITY 2:

Community – Tree Planting

(I think this activity can also be combined with Green Inclusive

Garden Activity since 22nd April is the Earth Day OR we can switch

the activities: Green Inclusive Garden will be done in May and Tree

Planting will be in April.)

JUNE 2026

ACTIVITY 1:

An Online Meeting for Teachers:

• Partner teachers meet online to discuss the final arrangements

and evaluation activities of the project.

ACTIVITY 2:

I’M PART OF NATURE (5th June – World Environment Day)

• Partner school teams conduct various activities in nature or

connected with nature (e.g. painting stones, short trekkinghiking, experiments) and present them in different platforms on

the 5th June, World Environment Day.

ACTIVITY 3:

Evaluation of the project activities:

• Students and Teachers answer the post-tests for evaluating the

project activities in GoogleForms app, the report of the surveys

are presented online in Twinspace.

In eTwinning projects:

• The use of various technology tools is highly demanded. Thus, we are going to use

different apps and web tools such as Canva, Padlet, Gamification tools such as

Kahoot, Survey tools, Video-makers, Logo and Poster-makers.

• Collaborative Work is also demanded. The Story of a Green Hero will be written

collaboratively. Each partner school will write a chapter about the adventures of the

hero with drawings in Storyjumper web tool.

• A Joint Product is also a must. We can write an acrostics poem-song about

environment in February as a solidarity act of our international partnership.

• Another important task is to disseminate the project as much as possible (e.g. use of

official websites of our schools, social media, having seminars or meeting with

parents, making and delivering brochures to families or different schools’ members,

visits to different schools or educational directorates.)

• Finally, international teams are set in every eTwinning project and these teams do

different activities about a common topic or issue. Each team includes at least one

student from each school. We may carry out the “ international teams” event in

March. We may set 5 international teams with 4-5 students in total. Each team can

prepare different activities about water. We can collect all the teams’ outputs in a

common eBook and disseminate on the 22nd March, Water Day.
