🌍 March 18th, Global Recycling Day: Taking Action for Our Planet!

 Dear Students and Followers,

Today is March 18th! We are living in a time where our world needs our help and climate change threatens our future. However, we know there is so much we can do to protect our planet. To build a sustainable future, we are focusing on one of the most important steps: Recycling. We will learn about its importance through two main tasks today!

Remember; by recycling, we can reduce waste, protect our natural resources, and keep our environment cleaner. Here are your missions for today:

💻 TASK 1: Join Our Collaborative Canva Presentation!

Let’s create a massive educational resource together to raise awareness about recycling! In the spirit of our project "Inclusion Hand in Hand with Environmental Education"—which we carry out with our partners from Romania, Slovakia, and Portugal—we are creating a collaborative presentation on Canva.

  • How to Participate? Click the link below and start editing the page assigned to your team.

  • Our Goal: We will use this presentation as educational material and spread it across different online learning platforms! 🤩💧

🌱 TASK 2: Organic Recycling at Home (Mini Compost Workshop)

When we think of recycling, we usually think of plastic bottles or paper. But fruit and vegetable peels are not just waste; they are the best vitamins for the soil! Our mission: Recycle food waste and help nature.

Step-by-Step Mini Compost Making:

  1. Preparation: Take a small container, jar, or flower pot and put some soil inside.

  2. Organic Waste: Add fruit or vegetable peels (apple, banana, carrot peels, etc.).

  3. Dry Materials: Add some dry leaves, small pieces of paper, or cardboard to maintain balance.

  4. Mix: Gently mix these with the soil.

  5. Patience: Keep your compost container in a safe place. In a few weeks, the food scraps will gradually turn into natural fertilizer for plants.

⚠️ Important Note: Do NOT add meat, dairy products, or oily foods to your compost.

📸 Don't Forget to Share!

Give your compost a name, take a photo, and share it with us on the Twinboard! Every step you take to protect nature is very valuable.

With the principles of "Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle," a greener future is possible!
