We Held the Final Meeting of Our STEM-Focused eTwinning Project
As part of our STEM-focused eTwinning project, “INCLUSION HAND IN HAND WITH ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION,” we came together with our mixed international partners and students for the final online meeting of our project.
During the meeting, we watched the eTwinning videos and collage works created throughout the project process. These works, prepared with the efforts of our students and partners, beautifully reflected our shared awareness of environmental education, inclusion, sustainable living, and international collaboration.
One of the most enjoyable parts of the meeting was playing the games prepared by our international mixed teams. Through these games, created collaboratively by students from different countries, our students both had fun and reinforced their knowledge about environmental problems, recycling, zero waste, water saving, and sustainable living.
Throughout the project, our students actively took part in many activities such as creating compost, designing a smart waste sorter, developing ideas for a sustainable school garden, and organizing activities for World Water Day, Environment Day, and eTwinning Day. Thanks to these activities, our students not only learned about environmental issues but also developed their problem-solving, design, digital tool usage, data collection, analysis, teamwork, and creative thinking skills through a STEM approach.
Our STEM-focused project activities supported students in producing solutions to real-life problems. In particular, topics such as environmental pollution, waste management, conscious use of water, and sustainable school life provided opportunities for students to learn by integrating science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
The excitement, energy, and active participation of our students throughout the meeting made us very happy. The project process provided students with valuable experiences in interacting with different cultures, working in international mixed teams, creating digital products, and becoming environmentally conscious individuals.
We completed the final meeting of our project with wonderful memories, successful outputs, a strong sense of collaboration, and the joy of shared learning. We would like to thank all our project partners, teachers, and students who contributed to this meaningful journey.
We are hand in hand for environmental education and inclusion! 🌍💚
